By submitting an application to the Safina Filmmaker Fellowship, filmmakers agree to the following terms and conditions: All submitted materials must be the original work of the applicant, and the applicant must hold all necessary rights to the content. By applying, filmmakers grant the Safina Filmmaker Project permission to review and evaluate their submissions for the purposes of the fellowship selection process. Selected applicants may be required to participate in promotional activities related to the fellowship, including but not limited to interviews, social media features, and events. Applicants retain ownership of their work; however, by participating in the fellowship, they agree to grant Safina Filmmaker Project a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use excerpts or promotional materials from the submitted work for marketing and publicity purposes related to the program. Submissions must comply with all eligibility requirements outlined by the fellowship, and any false representation may result in disqualification. Safina Filmmaker Project reserves the right to modify or cancel the fellowship program at its discretion.
